The real Love Indonesia..

Got this email from my Mom. It's just too beatiful to keep it in my inbox.
Thought I share this with you guys...

So, with these kind of beauty, do you still feel the need to look for it in another country?

This is interesting.
When was the last time have you used public phones?
 
Found these public phones at the Kelapa Gading Mall. I don't think anyone has ever used it (anymore).
Today, even 'tukang sate' have cell phones!

Yes, in my area we can even order satay and delivered to our home.
 
I wonder how many of these public phones still exists in Jakarta?

Well, I'm a Leo and it's definitely great to be one.
 
Not so great for everyone else, though.. You know how stubborn a Leo can be.. ;)

Oh I love this! There is so much you can say out of this fine piece. I'm imagining a person, a teacher who care so much about education would wander around on his bike, carrying a full-sized student table-set along with its bench, looking for potential students who could not pay for school. He would teach them and educate those unfortunate kids with passion.
 
This beautiful piece of art by Eddi Prabandono is showcasing in Bazaar Art Jakarta, One Pacific Place mall. I noticed this when I left the gym with my wife and heading to the elevator on the ground floor. If you are in Jakarta, do come to visit One Pacific Place mall located in the SCBD area. You can see so many art works all over the mall. I'm planning to go visit again sometime this week to look for more beautiful art collections. Coming, anyone?

Bazaar Art Jakarta, One Pacific Place.

This is nice. One Pacific Place Mall -located on the SCBD area- is displaying arts throughout the mall. Everywhere you go around the mall, you'd see art works. Some are good and some others are..... not that good (let's not be cruel here).

Whatever the art represents, it is nice to see these creative hand-made arts. Great job, Pacific Place! I didn't have that much of a time to actually look and capture all the art work, but you can see some of them here. What do you think?

A compilation out of a busy week

Oh how I have been quite busy lately. It kinda' make me a bit restless because I do have a lot of ideas to write. Anyways, time is just not on my side yet. So here's a compilation of what's goin' on around me.

So some developer decided to start building something on the empty yard next to our apartment. Sadly, it is just right out of my bedroom's balcony. Just imagine how noisy and dusty this place would be when they started to do heavy work! I really wish that they aren't going to build tall buildings, but to build a playground for the kids instead.. 

Sounds delusional?
Told ya' I was really busy. I need my sanity back...

Here's another thing that I have found quite fascinating.
My Mom, who was an all-time runner up on the race of technology, asked me to get her a BlackBerry. So I did. What's then more fascinating..... is that she's  actually (now) pretty good at it. Although if you do have her BB Pin or IM Account, you might want to buzz her over and over again to get her attention!

Last (but certainly not least), here is a photo of a self-painted-pink-and-a-bit-of-blue bike I captured in my friend's house.

Start it all up with a cup of kopi susu (thank you, wifey!), newspaper folds (read the sports section and toss the rest of the pages).
